I was honored to have been invited into this woman’s home in a Samburu village; a truly humbling and eye-opening experience. Women her age are often abandoned by their husbands, as men are permitted to have multiple wives, commonly leaving the older ones for younger ones. The next day, we danced together in a traditional dance with the warriors.
